We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities, vendor coordination, and inventory control. The role involves sourcing quality materials at competitive prices and ensuring timely delivery to support project needs.
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage the company’s procurement activities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the availability of quality materials, equipment, and services required for smooth operations and project execution. The ideal candidate will have experience in vendor management, negotiation, inventory tracking, and purchase planning.
The Purchase Executive will work closely with project, operations, and finance teams to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement, while maintaining strong supplier relationships and adhering to internal processes and policies.
Procurement Management:
Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, equipment, and services as per project or departmental requirements.
Vendor Management:
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, maintain vendor databases, obtain quotations, and build long-term relationships with reliable vendors.
Order Processing:
Issue purchase orders, follow up on deliveries, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
Inventory Coordination:
Monitor stock levels, manage reorder points, and collaborate with warehouse or stores teams for material tracking and stock availability.
Cost Control:
Negotiate pricing, terms, and payment conditions to ensure procurement within budget while maintaining quality standards.
Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, delivery schedules, and supplier contracts. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
Cross-Department Coordination:
Work closely with project managers, finance, operations, and logistics teams to align purchasing activities with business needs.
Market Research:
Stay updated on market trends, new products, and alternative suppliers to improve quality and reduce costs.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
1–3 years of experience in a procurement or purchase role (preferably in industrial, solar, or construction sectors)
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP or procurement software
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple purchase orders simultaneously
