Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team in the Solar Power sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and driving sales of solar energy solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.

This role requires a strong understanding of solar products, market trends, and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively. The candidate should be comfortable with client-facing responsibilities, preparing proposals, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify potential clients and generate leads through market research, networking, and field visits

Promote and sell solar energy solutions to residential, commercial, and industrial customers

Prepare and deliver compelling business presentations and proposals tailored to customer needs

Negotiate terms and close sales agreements in line with company policies

Build and maintain strong client relationships for long-term business growth

Coordinate with the technical and project teams to ensure successful execution and client satisfaction

Stay up to date with industry trends, government policies, and competitor activities

Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets and provide regular performance reports

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field

1–3 years of experience in business development or sales (experience in solar or renewable energy preferred)

Good understanding of solar systems (rooftop, ground-mounted, on-grid/off-grid)

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools

Willingness to travel and conduct on-site client visits
